Après une formation classique à la flûte traversière, dès l'âge de 19 ans, je me suis de plus en plus intéressé au saxophone. J'ai fréquenté en partie l'Ecole de Jazz de Berne et en partie j'ai travaillé en autodidacte à la technique et surtout au son de mon merveilleux Selmer Mark IX (sax alto et baryton).

Mon parcours de musicien de studio et de musicien "live", qui dure maintenant depuis plus de 20 ans, a commencé comme membre fondateur du groupe IGIM-BLUESBAND et des THUNDERHORNS (section cuivres). Les "highlights": des jams sur scène avec Johnny "Clide" Copeland, Junior Wells et Luther Allison, CHECKERBOARD BLUESBAND.

J'ai raffermi ma place dans le milieu de la musique en tant que producteur de MATTER ROCK et comme co-producteur de la "SCHLACHTPLATTE" (PATENT OCHSNER).

Sous mon Label FON-TON (www.fon-ton.ch) j'ai sorti plusieurs CD dans les années '90 et depuis 2002 ma sarl FON-TON occupe une place importante dans le domaine de la publication de pièces radiophoniques pour enfants.

Nach der klassischen Ausbildung auf Querflöte in der Jugend interessierte mich ab dem 19. Altersjahr mehr und mehr das Saxophon. Zeitweilig an der Jazzschule in Bern, hauptsächlich aber autodidaktisch, arbeitete ich an Technik und vor allem am Sound meines wunderbaren Selmer Mark IX (Alto- und Baritonsax).

Als Gründungsmitglied der IGIM-BLUESBAND und der THUNDERHORNS (Bläsersatz) begann eine mittlerweile über 20jährige Laufbahn als gefragter Studio- und Live-Musiker.Highlights: Bühnen-Jams bei Johnny "Clide" Copeland, Junior Wells, und Luther Allison dokumentieren das hohe Niveau das mit der CHECKERBOARD BLUESBAND erspielt wurde.

Als Produzent von MATTER ROCK und Co-Produzent der SCHLACHTPLATTE (PATENT OCHSNER) festigte ich mein Standbein im Musikbusiness.
Mein Label FON-TON (www.fon-ton.ch) gibt in den Neunzigerjahren mehrere CDs heraus und nimmt seit 2002 als FON-TON GmbH eine wichtige Stelle als Herausgeber von Kinderhörspielen ein.

After a classical training on flute, at the age of 19, I began more and more to find interest in the saxophone. I started to work on the technique and sound of my marvelous Selmer Mark IX (alto- and baritone sax), partly in the Jazz School of Berne and partly in a self-teaching way.

I co-founded the IGIM-BLUESBAND and the THUNDERHORNS (brass-section). That's how my now more than 20 years long career as a wanted studio- and live-musician began. Highlights: stage-jams with Johnny "Clide" Copeland, Junior Wells, Luther Allison and the CHECKERBOARD BLUESBAND.

I reached a solid place in the music business as I produced MATTER ROCK and co-produced the "SCHLACHTPLATTE" (PATENT OCHSNER). In the 90'ies, several CD's came out under my Label FON-TON (www.fon-ton.ch) and since 2002, my company FON-TON has taken an important place as publisher of radio-plays for children.
